One of the most entertaining events in the country.  Beerfest - a competion between teams to determine who are the best beer drinkers around!  Four, 5 member teams will compete to be named the beer drinking champions of the year.  Each team member will be required to compete in 3 events.  There will be  5 total events with the winning team earning 1 point each.  Some of the events are as follows:

1.  THE BUCKET CHUG - always a crowd favorite.  A 1 vs 1 battle to see who can take out 3 liters of beer without spilling a drop.  First one to finish without spilling wins.

2.  TURBO QUARTERS - this challenge puts team against team, 5 vs 5, to see who can sink the most coins into their teams mugs in one minute.  Losing team chugs 1 mug/member.  Winning team earns 1 point.

3.  BEER PONG - a 2 vs 2 challenge with a pyramid of 6 mugs, each filled with beer, placed on each end.   The opposing team attempts to throw a ping pong ball into the other team's mugs.  Each member gets 1 throw per round.  Every time the ball lands inside the opposition's mug, the opposing team member drinks that mug.  When a team loses all their mugs, they are out.  Winning team earns 1 point.  Losing team drinks the winning team's left over beer.

4.  THE LONG POUR - another 2 vs 2 battle involving accuracy and communication.  One member will lie face up on the ground while the other stands on the stage.  The member on the gound will hold a funnel in their mouth with the member on the stage pours 1 liter of beer into the funnel from above.  The team that finishes first without spilling earns 1 point.

5.  THE BONG BATTLE - a 2 vs 2 battle to take down 2 liters of beer through a funnel and hose.  Each member must complete a funnel.  First team to finish both funnels without spilling wins 1 point.  If a drop is spilled, the team starts over.

6.  MONKEY CHUG - a down under 1 vs 1 battle.  Each team will chose 1 member to hang upside down and chug 1 mug of beer (approx 1 liter).  Fastest to finish without spilling gets 1 point.

7.  DAS BOOT - what started it all.  A 5 vs 5 beer chugging spectacle.  Each team will have 4 members chug a boot of beer (approx 1 liter), one after the other.  Fastest team to finish without spilling wins 3 points.  Any spilling will be penalized by a 90 second/per person time added after the final beer is completed.
